Subject: Filling up of one post of Member(Non-Official) in the pay scale of Rs.18,400-500-22,400/- (pre-revised), Rs.37,400-67,000/- + Grade Pay Rs.10,000/-(revised) in the Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices(CACP).
Sir,
I am directed to say that one post of Member(Non-Official) in the scale of pay of Rs.18,400-500- 2,400/- (pre-revised), Rs.37,400-67,000/- + Grade Pay Rs.10,000/- (revised) in the Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices(CACP), an attached office of this Department is required to be filled up on contract basis for a period of three years. As per the procedure approved by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet(ACC), a data bank is required to be created for assessment.
2. As per existing norms, persons having following experience may apply for the posts as per
enclosed format:
(i) Persons whose main profession is farming;
(ii) Persons having outstanding achievements in crop production, farming practices or any other agricultural fields;
(iii) The leaders of kisan movements; and
(iv) Persons whose main profession is agriculture and who have made significant contribution to agricultural production or marketing and other allied activities or made outstanding achievements in agriculture production.
3. It is, therefore, requested that names of eligible persons to be considered for the above mentioned post may please be funished in the enclosed format to Under Secretary (EA), Department of Agriculture & Cooperation, Room No. 478-A, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi, latest by 16 November,2012.
