been retained from the result declared for the CGL (Tier-I) Exam, 2012 except
for the additional candidates called by the regional offices for whom the
category/post preference have been taken from unverified data of Tier-II).
3. (i) Candidates declared qualified
in List-I and List-II will be called for interviews. Candidates figuring in the
both the lists will appear in the interview only once. (ii) Candidates declared
qualified in List-I who have also opted for the post of Asst. in CSS will be
called for computer proficiency test. (iii) Candidates declared qualified in
List-IV will be called for DEST/Documents verification. Those candidates who

will be taken for evaluating their performance against DEST.
4. The above results are based on data
sent by Regional Office of the Commission and are subject to verification of
their options furnished in the Application Form. Inclusion of any candidate in
any of the list of the post for which he/she has not opted will not confer any
right on his/her consideration for any post for which he/she had not exercised
option. However, candidates in List-IV who have not opted for the post of Tax
Assistant are encouraged to appear for the skill test in Data Entry Test for
the post of Tax Assistant as the Commission intends to consider them selection
against unfilled vacancy in the post, if any.
5. The lists herein are provisional. The
candidates whose Roll numbers figure in the lists would be called for
Interview/Skill Test subject to their fulfilling all the eligibility
conditions/requirements as prescribed for the respective posts in the ‘Notice’
of Examination and also subject to thorough verification of their identity with
reference to their photographs, signatures, handwritings, preference, etc., on
the application forms, admission certificates, etc. If on verification from the
application form, it is found that any candidate does not fulfill any of the
eligibility conditions, he/she will not be called for the Interview/Skill Test.
Commission undertakes post examination analysis and candidature of
provisionally selected candidates is liable to be cancelled if they are, prima-
facie, found to be involved in unfair means based on such analysis.
6. The category status in respect of
candidates belonging to reserved categories has been indicated along with their
roll numbers. It is important for the candidates belonging to the reserved
category for whom certain percentage of vacancies are reserved as per
Government policy, to note that if any of them does not actually belong to the
category shown against his/her roll number, he/she may not be eligible for
appearing in the Interview. It is, therefore, in the interest of the candidates
concerned to contact immediately the respective Regional Offices of the
Commission if they do not belong to the category shown against their roll
numbers.
7. Tentatively, the Interview is
expected to commence w.e.f. 10-12-2012. The actual programme of
Interviews region-wise will be available on the Commission’s website in due
course. Detailed programmes of Interview will be placed on the website of the
respective Regional Offices. Qualified eligible candidates who do not receive
call letter for the Interview should contact the concerned Regional Office
immediately or download the call letter from the respective regional website.

the post of Tax Assistant will be placed on the Commission’s website in due
course. Format of the skill test is already available on the website of the
Commission in candidate’s corner.

Proficiency Test (CPT) for candidates opting for the post of Assistant (CSS)
will be finalized by the Commission in due course and placed on the website.

day for documents verification, failing which they will not be considered for
any post.

papers used by the Commission in this examination have been carefully
examined and answer keys modified wherever their representations were found to
be genuine. The modified keys were used for evaluation.
12. The result is available on the
Commission’s website: http://ssc.nic.in and http://ssc.nic.in and
http://sscresults.nic.in. The Regional Offices of the Commission have also been
